John Lennon "IMAGE WORLD PEACE"

all he wanted was a Chance and Peace!
JOHN WINSTON LENNON born October 9, 1940 in Liverpool.He formed a band in the mid-50's called
THE QUARRYMEN.Then in 1957, a gig done by the quarrymen , he met Paul Mcartney backstage whom later invited him to join the
band.After paul joined, he introduced his mate harrison(george), to the group, and thats the begining of the beatles.
GIVE PEACE A CHANCE throughout the beatles and his solo career,John often took opportunity
to spread peace.He had chance to express his idea of peace when after he and Yoko got married, which turned out to be the
most famous "bed in peace".He wrote the song GIVE PEACE A CHANCE during that period in the hotel room with his fans singing
together.To protest the vietnam war he wrote the song HAPPY XMAS (war is over) and promoted his single with posters all around
new york saying "happy xmas war is over"with simaler words "if u wanted".The song IMAGINE ,is well known to people around
the world.Acording to yoko, the song is "a crystallised version of world that has in mind.
A DAY IN THE LIFE
Sadly on december 8, 1980, after working on the double fantasy/milk and honey session, john lennon was shot
outside his dakota department in new york and died when he arrived at the hospital.
